STPRO 4003/4004 GPS
MATN’S Stabilizers has developed the GPS4004 device which supplies a speed signal to the STPRO4003 or STPRO 4004 control unit.

With that speed signal the control unit can reduce the angle of the fins at higher speeds. The device uses a GPS signal input. At very low speeds, such as in a harbor the fins can be automatically adjusted to the central position. Versions using NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 inputs are also available.

STPRO 4004 180°
This controller ensures that the fins can rotate 180° in a secure way, this allows the ship to sail with a single set of stabilizers in both directions.

In order to turn the stabilizers 180°  in a safe manner, the STPRO4004 180 controls various data of the sailing direction, water depth, speed, etc. These data obtained by different sensors, will be double checked and processed by the STPRO4004 180°, the controller sends  the processed  data to one of the two STPRO4004 controllers.

More and more shipyards prefer to use their own bridge panel system instead of all sizes of control panels of various suppliers.
MATN’s is willing to cooperate, and has the knowledge to integrate our stabilizer controls in different systems.

Oil Monitoring
To monitor the hydraulic functions or even cut off the hydraulics automatically in case of a hydraulic alarm we can add an oil monitoring menu in the touch screen.

This menu contains the following functions:
  • Low level oil
  • High temperature oil
  • Return filter clogged
  • Pressure filter clogged
  • olimonitoring 220x298
    Master and slave touch screen
    The master touch screen will be placed in the in the wheel house and controls the main functions of the stabilizer system. If needed we can offer a slave touch screen in addition to the master screen, the slave can be placed for example in the engine room.

    By using a bus system we can add additional touch screens which make our system very flexible.

    In-house software
    Matn's has its own software programmer for making tailor made solutions for the various control units.
